by LateBloomerGirl Jan 30Hi to all,
I wanna ask if how do you guys know you're now ready to take the NCLEX?
As for me, I can't answer myself but I believe you wouldn't know unless you take the NCLEX exam itself.
I've been reviewing since August 2012, and my scores in Saunders 5th edition (Study Mode) were pretty good.
I'm currently on 3 week review from NCSBN, and I've done all the lessons except the practice questions left.
I'm so frustrated because my pretest score was 65% and through all the post-test exam I scored 50-65% unless I retake them, that's the only time I would get 75% and higher.
I just received my ATT today, I went ahead and take the February 20 schedule 8 AM, which is 20 days from now.
Do you guys think I'm ready face the NCLEX?
Please give me some advice or suggestions as to what to do. Any advice/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much.

- Jan 30 by chrysdamianYou have done a lot to prepare for NCLEX more than some people. I don't think there is any more you can do. Just go for it and believe you will pass. Stay positive and believe in yourself!
- Jan 30 by daisyfleur70how are you approaching ncsbn review? do you read the content and then do the post tests? or do you do questions then backtrack? I got a 69% on the pre test.. ugh. I've been averaging 60-65% for the most part, got 56% on one section in the Kaplan Review book... I take it next week (Feb 7th) and I feel by turns ready and not ready. I just want to get it over with! :P

And yes, I'll stay positive! I can do this!

I read all of the contents and wrote down some information and acronyms then the post tests.
My subscription will be finished by Feb 3, then I plan to do NCLEX 4000 until the 20th.
I found NCLEX 4000 harder than Saunders 5th Edition. You might wanna try it too.
Good luck to both of us! - Jan 30 by malenurse354I think you will just feel it in yourself, if you are ready or not...you know what preparations you did more than anyone else! just be positive and wish you all the luck
- Jan 30 by swilds12I too am doing NCSBN 3 week review and Saunders. My pretext score was 68% and all of my review section post tests are just below 75%. I feel as ready as ill ever be at this point being just out of school and reviewing this much. I take my test Feb. 12 and I am hoping that I know enough to pass itbw2012 likes this.
