How do you know you are above the pass point?

Hello nurses/nursing students!

I just want to know that how do you know you are above the pass point while taking the NCLEX? Do you have SATAs or priority questions? Let me know! Thanks.

I had not idea whether I was above passing. My main focus was to answer the questions in front of me one at a time using critical thinking. When the computer shut at 75, I had a feeling I passed. I did keep track on SATAs, 10 total and about 10 meds. There is no indicator on the screen that can tell you if you above or not.

Thanks for replying. I had a lot of SATAs too.. although I really did not count how much of the categories I had. How did you do on your exam?

I passed and it was my first time. I personally did not find the exam hard at all. I thought it was easier than some exams I had in nursing school. It was more critical thinking in my opinion.

You can't really tell, Having many SATA has no bearing as people with no SATA can still pass. I suggest reading the NCSBN website would help you understand it more

Thanks everyone!

I passed too! I tried the Pearsonvue NCLEX trick yesterday, however when I clicked next in the register button, nothing popped up, and I was so in nerves that I closed the window immediately. I thought I had failed, and could barely think for 12 hours after that.

The PearsonVue NCLEX trick is not for the weakhearted. :]. I was confident after taking the exam however the 48 hours you wait after getting unofficial results is simply nerve-wrecking.
