Helpless and Alone

Hi,

I just wanted to vent. I still have not passed the NCLEX-RN and it is starting to take a toll on me. I'm currently studying for the exam again but I sometimes just feel scared I'm going to fail once again. I feel like no one in my family and friends really understand so I just wanted to vent on this forum since you all might since we all know how nursing school was. I feel like I'm stuck in limbo because my life is on hold. I just feel so alone.

Thanks for listening

You are not alone. Engage in positive thinking and keep on trying. As long as you continue to try, you will pass. You won't pass if you give up and you won't be satisfied with yourself. So don't give up.

Don't give up, you'll be there. I know how you feel, I took the nclex-pn 5 times. A lot of time I feel depressed and embarassed around my family and friends, when asked If I passed already. But the good thing is I pass on my 5th time. If I give up, I wouldn't be an LVN.

I think it is normal the way you are feeling, for that I am feeling the same way. I haven't passed nclex yet either, and sometimes feel really embarassed around my family and friends also but the way I see it is that, maybe its not my time to be an RN "yet" and that I need to just wait a bit longer. I am studying really hard for the next one and if for some reason I don't passed, I am just going to dig my head in a hole . Look at it this way, you are not the only one. So keep your head up and stay focus! Good luck!!

i feel you. I, too, feel so alone since no one in my family understands me. they think im a moron for not passing the nclex the first time. im planning to take it again and i study in my room most of the times. i lock my door because whenever they see me studying they just say "you might fail again" and then they will laugh. Im really gona study hard this time because the first thing ill do when i pass this exam is to move out. I feel so alone in this house cuz nobody supports me.

Hang in there, we can make it. =)

I to feel the same way you do but I can't give up. I have nothing else to run to, I feel that nursing is all that I know and that I can see myself doing. I know that if God got me through nursing school that he's going to definitely get me through the NCLEX. Just continue to keep on striving and praying to him. You have come too far to turn your back. Keep striving. God's speed!!!

Thank you everyone for all your support and just listening. Sometimes it gets the best of me and I get discouraged. I'm glad I have all of you to vent to. And I do hope you all know I'm here as well.

To everyone that's still trying to pass GOOD LUCK as well. And to those who have passed! Congrats!!!

Thanks again for all your support! It was much needed.
