HELP I can't take the wait~!

hi all,

posted yesterday and just have to post again cause I'm freaking out. I took the nclex yesterday it went off at 75 questions but I feel like i bombed it. For one I couldn't think straight since I was so nervous 2) I got a ton of select all that apply which i'm horrible at 3) somewhere in the middle of the test I noticed that the questions were very knowlege based (still hard but more knowledge) which scared me because i was like uh oh must be doing bad then at towards the end I got the who would you see first higher questions. I was hoping I would have more questions to "prove" myself since I think I bombed some of the more fairly straight forward questions in the beginning b/c of nerves.

I've been trying to keep busy all day long (results not available till tomorrow) but I'm just so nervous I failed and keep having crying spells. It's awful. To top if off another classmate (who passed) stated that the MAJORITY of her test was prioritization higher level questions so NOW I'm thinking since I didn't get them until the end maybe they were just in their because they had to fill up the end of the test with something. I'm just afraid I dug a hole so far down in the middle of the test that I shot myself in the foot.

I took my test today I will be one of the few that bomb in 75 questions. there were so many on what type of room to give a patient (special precaution) that I no longer know what room I belong in. I really thought I was ready for this test but I think I was wrong
ugh!!!!

well I took mine yesterday, I had about 230 questions, at the beginning I felt like I was looking at a different language, then after about 200 I started wearing down, I don't feel too confident, but what can ya do.

Hi - healer27 I am right there with you! I am not from N.J. but I took my NCLEX yesterday and got 75 questions, too. I had 2 medication calculation questions, 2 select all that apply questions, and the rest were multiple choice. I got several prioritization questions; some appeared in the middle of my test and then some appeared at the end. I don't think you should freak yourself out, though. I did yesterday, but today I am more calm and have talked to a ton of my classmates who passed with 75 questions just this past week and their experiences have been similar to both of ours.

Plus, in case it makes you feel any better, I have talked to people who say they only got 75 questions and passed with hardly any prioritization questions!

So, you don't know for sure that you didn't pass - I am trying to stay positive for both of us. When is the earliest you can find out your result? I think here I have to wait until Monday - this is going to be a long weekend! But, just remember that you did your absolute best, and even if you missed the priority questions, as long as you got the basics right, that's what matters! I took a review course just before the test and the instructor told us that if you get harder questions on the NCLEX and miss them, you can still pass. He said that to pass the NCLEX you only need to be able to answer questions correctly that are at a below-average level. Hopefully since both of us got questions that seemed hard, that means we are above the passing standard!! Good luck, try to relax, and remember that you're not alone!!
