Hurst is a great review. If after watching Hurst you need more core content, I would look at Feuer for med surg.

Hello,
I saw this tonite, and hope you did pass..NCLEX is the hardest easiest test you will take so far. I feel if you put in your study/question hours, you will be successful. After you get used to doing hundreds of questions daily, the content seems to repeat. I found that doing the HESI questions plus Nclex 3500, 400- they can shake your confidence. I just used the LeCharity workbook,Saunders, and researched the ones I got wrong and did my hundreds daily and passed the first time I took it at about 90 something questions. I wish you much luck it it VERY hard to find a job fresh out of school!!
If you school gave you ATI, try and take the cumulative test to find your overall weak areas. Those that are below the passing mark. Then review those topics with Hurst. It is just getting an overall knowledge passing score in each area. So find the really weak areas, and work on those. Don't worry about getting every single item right. Read the rationales, understand, and continue to study.
If you school didn't give you ATI, try and find another way to assess you weak areas with cumulative tests that break down to the specific area you are weak on.
