Someone posted that they passed the NCLEX RN after the tenth try. That took determination. Perhaps you could get a job doing something, anything, and study for your next try in a certain amount of time set aside each day. When you no longer make the exam your only focus in life, maybe you will relax, and get it over with. I would not give up after only three tries. But you need to get some income and do something to relieve your mind. Good luck.

I know a nurse who took it 6 times before she finally passed. I think a formal course would be really helpful for you.

I don't understand why they make the NCLEX-PN so hard when the people who's taking it are not REGISTERED NURSES. PRactical Nurses meaning we need practical questions...NOT HARD QUESTIONS...WHATEVER!
I beg to differ it is this mindset that hinders you.
Why would a loving God put his precious creations in your hand at this time? He would not!
Reason: You are presently ill-equipped.
ALL NURSES have precious gifts lent to them by God to care for thats why the exam is structered in such a manner. If you dont meet the mininum cant take care of his children.

So God gave those nurses who pass with license because their are all well - equipped now. So your saying i am not studying the content the way they are so God didn't let me pass. So how come some nurses who have license already and still makes mistakes on their day to day work? You must be perfect if you have a license already right? I am studying the same book and same content so what's the difference on what i do and i can't pass this damn exam?

I wouldn;t have to do all of this if ONLY the NCSBN makes the exam a little easier to pass since it is testing your minimum compentency. Something I dont understand here...minimum competency means MEMORIZING THE WHOLE NURSING BOOK so you can pass..cause they made so HARD with all their NON-SENSE FORMAT and TRICKS ...why just just make the whole exam multiple choice ..whatever!...I could have kept my old job..but no i have to give my everything and put all my energy on this damn exam and nothing...I know my capability and i am not stupid..If only NCSBN know what their impact to us who fail this exam..they would know better..I
m angry and frustrated cause i lost a lot...and now i will celebrate holiday with this failure to share to all my love ones..Thanks NCSBN...

I am sorry for my attitude about it. It is so PAINFUL...Its is the only hope that I have and i know that it will make me a better person I am today with a shot for a better life. I dont blaming anybody..the only thing I know is the people who makes this exam harder. And i hope their are HAPPY. I have a hard time facing life everyday. But i have to get up every morning to face the truth that I FAILED again. I dont have a job, no place to stay..going back to Manila to celebrate the Holidays and get away from here for a while until i am heal and able to study again. But by far i don't know yet...I am down and depressed. I love America. and I guess i am still lucky that this is my home now...Its a country of opportunity...Thanks for all your support...Have a happy holidays !

Just wanted to share something I received from an instructor............author unknown

YOU ARE THE GREATEST ! !
YOU ARE UNIQUE ! There is nobody exactly like you. In all the history of the world, there has never been another you, and in all the time to come, there will never be another you. Whatever your Mind can conceive and believe...you CAN achieve. If you think you can't, your right. To accomplish great things, you must not only dream, but also believe. Believing is magic, what you believe yourself to be, you are. Success is an attitude. Set high lofty goals; reach for the moon, because even if you miss, you're going to to come down with a handful of stars. Clearly define your goals. Visualize them as though you have already achieved them. Make your plan, and then work your plan. DO IT NOW!!! If at first you don't succeed, try...try again. If it doesn't work one way, try another way. Defeat may test you....it need not stop you. Inch by inch anything's a cinch. It is impossible to fail, unless you quit. For every problem there is a solution. Every problem carries with it the seed of an equal or greater benefit. Look for those benefits. Wishing will not bring you success, but dreaming, planning, persistence and a burning desire will. Dream great dreams. And never be less than you dream. The biggest mistake you can make is giving up.
NEVER GIVE UP! Neve say CAN'T." YES YOU CAN!!! Because, YOU ARE THE GREATEST!!!

You must remain positive. Keep praying with a renewed mindset. You are feeding to much negative energy.
Yes, it's discouraging, but you still have things to be thankful for........ your trip back home to rejuvenate is one of them. Don't give up you have come to far. I pray that you find peace within..... feel free to pm if needed..take care.
