I agree! Slow down and reassess! As nurses and nursing students we are constantly reminded to assess first before implementation. You have to make the decision to test or not retest when you are calmer. My thoughts on it are that you've come this far so why not finish what you started?
I took a review class in preparation for boards from Hurst. (
http://www.hurstreview.com) It was excellent and very easy to understand. It focused on content review, not just testing strategies. It was extra money but well worth it! If nothing else read the testimonials on the site and then call "Aunt Marlene" (the owner of the company) and explain your situation-they are truly interested in having everyone pass the boards and committed to making sure that happens (no matter how many tries it takes). Alot of people take her review after failures and pass.
If nothing else, don't give up! Many of the greatest nurses struggled to pass boards! Hang in there!
