Hey October test takers i took my NCLEX RN 2 days ago and i was convinced i failed at 75 questions but i didnt i am officially an RN i'm still in shock. THANK YOU FOR ALL THE PRAYERS AND SUPPORT GOOD LUCK FOR EVERYONE LEFT :)

hi 2b_usrn:

i just took the exam on the 9th and got 200 questions. i was freaking out because i felt like the questions i got were more of what they would consider lower level ones, i.e. s/s of hyperglycemia, basic knowledge/recall type questions. i vaguely remember the exact questions but i certainly got a variety of them. i remembered getting some questions re:discharge teaching, priority-who would you see first at the clinic or in an emergency situation, about 7 multiple multiples, one and only one calculation, lots of meds i never even heard of, and delegation questions. i got a mixture of almost everything including 'essential' ones.

at any consolation, 7 of my classmatess took it and all passed at 75 and all said they got lots of priority and delegation type questions. i was the only one so far who passed at 200 and was totally bummed after the exam. i felt as though i failed miserably!

good luck and it sounds to me like you did well because the odds are definitely in your favor.

keep me posted! take care...

i will! im really staying positive and not nervous at all..i told myself after the test , i did what God planned me to do and just commit everything up to him, im positive about the result, i have to wait for a month though..

I am not a first weeker test taker, but I really could use your thoughts and NUMEROUS prayers. I take my nclex-RN on the 18th. This will be my 2nd time. I have studied numerous things since failing in July. I am not sure that I am "ready" but I dont know that I ever will be ready to do through this again. I would love to have all your support and prayers. This is a very positive thread and I need to be apart of it. I will also continue to pray for those still awaiting the RN behind their names. All I can say is I really want and deserve to pass this time. So, please everyone pray for me. My name is Michelle. I test in IN on the 18th at 0900. Thank you in advance. Hopefully I wont ever have to do this again! I am going CRAZY!!

THANKS:uhoh3:

I took NCLEX yesterday....... i felt soo good going through the first 30 or so and was praying that the computer would shut off at 75 already so that i have high hopes at passing at this point! NOPE! went pass 80, 85, 100 i said c'mon now...turn off.....yess it turned off but dammit it was the break button! so......in the end...i had the lucky nclex lotto number 265...5 hrs. i felt sooooo sick and wanted to puke in front of the computer... nothing could have prepared me for the topics. i dont understand why the questions got so extremely hard. i thought it is supposed to be based on how you answer the previous question! please pray for me... i havent even slept

I'm praying for you. I took my exam yesterday and left testing center in tears. The last question is still playing over and over in my head. (If you get the last one wrong does that mean you failed?) :o I can't remember the exact number but I answered around 140. I guess I'll just have to wait until I get my results. Cross your fingers for me! :uhoh3:

congratulations to everyone who has passed so far this october !!!!

i hope the second half of october test takers can all stay focused and positive. as for me, my test is next week 24th and i'm starting to feel all the nerves come at me in waves. the only thing keeping me from breaking down is my puppy and my starbucks study dates with my bf. i've gone through tons and tons of practice questions the past few weeks along with getting content down. now i'm not sure if i should start slowing it down and just doing a little each day as the big day comes close or do the total opposite and do more. got any advice on how i should spend my last week before my exam?
