When there are risks and challenges in every direction, where do you get the courage to move forward? That courage depends largely on the things you value most in your life.

When you place the most value on fleeting, shallow superficial things, you're constantly at risk of losing it all. Those things can quickly disappear. Money and material possessions are indeed very useful, and can bring a certain richness to life. Yet if you allow the value of your life to be defined by them, you're building on shaky ground.

On the other hand, if you value most those things you cannot lose, you'll have the courage necessary to assume the risks and to take on the difficult challenges. Your faith, your sincere love for others, your integrity, your purpose, your desire to make a difference, all have the power to survive whatever difficulties you may face.

Whatever happens, there are some things that can never be taken from you, some things you cannot lose. When those things matter most to you, it can give you the confidence to attempt just about anything.

I am not a first weeker test taker, but I really could use your thoughts and NUMEROUS prayers. I take my nclex-RN on the 18th. This will be my 2nd time. I have studied numerous things since failing in July. I am not sure that I am "ready" but I dont know that I ever will be ready to do through this again. I would love to have all your support and prayers. This is a very positive thread and I need to be apart of it. I will also continue to pray for those still awaiting the RN behind their names. All I can say is I really want and deserve to pass this time. So, please everyone pray for me. My name is Michelle. I test in IN on the 18th at 0900. Thank you in advance. Hopefully I wont ever have to do this again! I am going CRAZY!!
    THANKS

To all those on these 18 pages of this great thread:
Many many thank yous for your support!
I took the exam this past Saturday and found out Tuesday that I passsed! It's still hard to believe I can write RN after my name. This will happen to you too. The very best to all those who will be testing soon. Remember, you have worked very hard to get to this point. As you are all so close to testing, use your relaxation techniques at this point. Be ready (with good nutrition and rest!) to focus for this test.
You will be tested thoroughly. You CAN do it!!!

Let go of your criticisms about how things should have been, and you'll see the magnificent possibilities of now. Let go of your worries about what might be, and you'll be able to focus on all you can do right now.

Stop putting your energy into making excuses and use that energy to take action. Quit fretting over getting it perfect and put your focus on being effective.

You have now arrived at a unique moment that is filled with countless possibilities. You can make something truly valuable out of it.

You have the real and powerful ability to imagine, and then to put that imagination into action. You can call together all you've experienced, and everything that is most meaningful to you, and to create from it all your very own gifts to life.

There is abundance all around you, and with a little focused, determined effort that abundance is yours to enjoy. Choose to connect with the best within you, to make that effort, and to live with true richness.

Get up, get inspired, get moving and get involved in making a positive difference. This is your moment to come fully to life.
