Yah I spoke with someone who passed his NCLEX and said that he didn't get too many SATAs. I guess it's random. The best anyone can do is study as much as they can and then leave it all up to god on test day!

Well it depends how many questions u get...if u stop at 75 and get a lot of SATA questions and priority usually means u pass...I stopped at 225 and had over 30 SATA and tons of priority and I passed..u can't really tell..a friend of mine stopped at 105 questions and only had 7 SATA questions..it's computerized so it's different for every1.

    True...it all differs for everyone

This time around I took 265 questions. Majority of them were priority questions and I bought the PDA book just to make sure my priority "skills" are up to part! . I read in the Hurst book that if you fail and you take 265 questions it means that you barely fail. I dont know the truth to it

I know how you all feel but just keep pushing. After failing the second time, I thought nursing wasn't for me and felt so stupid. I took excell review through a recommendation from a friend. Best review I invested and passed on the third try with 75 questions. Excell filled in the holes of my nursing knowledge that I missed while in nursing school. I strongly feel that you need to have strong content to take this exam. Before, on my previous takes I kept worrying that I should do thousands of questions. My third try I studied from Excell and only did 1,000 questions from NCSBN. You just need to find what works for you. Oh and I also used kaplan and hurst my previous takes :/, but it didn't work for me. Message me if you still have questions!

Its pretty pricey.. I couldn't read a book and remember what I had just read lol.
    Heres the site:
    Excell Nursing Review | Home

THe only thing I can email is the all nurses study guide...I didn't use any other sources for my third try. I just focused on the excell notes and NCSBN questions.

They go over main topics focused on nclex- med surge, psych, pads, etc. They lecture you the material but also use their own experiences and teach you critical thinking. You can email me: kimnguyen1220@gmail.com. I'm getting really tired and I'm about to fall asleep lol. I'll tell you more about it.
