Failed NCLEX three times

I have failed the NCLEX three times and I find myself extremely hesistant to start studying again. It's been over a year since I have graduated and my personal life has taken a turn for the worse. I'm afraid of failing again. I don't want to give up, but everytime I think about the NCLEX I get so anxious. It's almost like I'm having panic attacks. I just don't know what to do anymore.

I won't worry about how many times I failed as long as I did my best. Just study more and learn from previous mistakes/experiences. I would rather be a person who failed 10 times but tried the 11th time and passed rather thAn failed only 3 times and gave up.
Use different nclex books and cd roms, and use them like as if u are really taking a test. This would help u recognize which topic or questions u r not getting right. Read the right answers and understand the rationale there. Be happy.

Don't loose hope.. have faith in God.. In whatever you do acknowledge him.. Don't be hesitant to call him 'coz he is willing to help you in whatever ways that you would want to.. You know what, when i took the Nclex this sept. 28,I didn't felt any nervousness 'coz i kept prayin'.. and I kept on prayin that he'll guide me in all the answers that i will make..
So just stay focus on the exam and don't forget to do it in His name.. and of course be ready with whatever questions you'll encounter.. be ready read as many as you can.. stay focus.. everyday is a new beginning.. don't let yourself distracted for whatever was in the past.. you can do it..
God bless you

I understand. I have failed it 3 times also, and have been out of school for over 2 years. UGH... I am trying to pull myself together and retake it... BUT UGH. I don't know when and where to start. Good luck to you and annie027 is right. We have to trust God has a plan. Study more and retake...

NEVER lose hope, and never give up. i have heard of many great nurses who took it several times. but look where they stand now. even if it's taking you long to accomplish something, make everything your learning experience and become a stronger person. i was never a good test taker and my scores were bad when i took Kaplan (like beyond the low percentage bad). but that didn't stop me and i studied more and more. i failed my local boards once in the Philippines, but i passed NCLEX the first time with 75 questions. it can be done!

and most importantly, pray. prayers are very powerful. i strongly believe my prayers and those praying for me helped me pass NCLEX. believe in Him. i wouldn't call myself a very religious person.. but i knew that if i kept praying, i can overcoming anything.

GOODLUCK!! =]

Keep at it. As long as you keep trying, there will come the time when you walk out of there a GN. You will not fail unless you quit trying. Dust off and start a new study plan. Good luck.
