Exam Cram Nclex RN

I just took their CD exam and did not do well. Has anyone else tried this test? It just made me feel very uncomfortable about testing.

get the flash cards or the reviewers with the answers and rationale. i am new to nursing and am still a student but reading reviewers like this is really helping me alot, i can't believe i remember everything i've read so far, after i finish with the 300+ questions i will test myself and i am sure i will get them all... people are saying use the saunders 3rd edition with the cd, i bought the cd here in the philipines and bought the springhouse nclex rn reviewer, i think they are flash cards.

I have this one and have used it quite a bit. I thought I would throw the Cram exam one in and give it a try. I was just shocked at how poorly I did. It just served to make me more nervous. I guess I should just stick with the mosby and saunders CD's.

I used ExamCram and just passed the NCLEX-RN with 75 questions on Wednesday. I also had Kaplan but felt the real NCLEX was most like ExamCram. I'd recommend it to anyone.

I used the CD that came with it and loaded it on my computer. Every evening I'd go thru a hundred or so questions. It would give the rationale why it was right (OR wrong). I wish I still had it, I'd send it to you but I passed it on last year to the class that finished after us.

I never even saw the book Exam Cram because a friend just passed around the CD for us to use.

I guess I was sick of reading and the computer questions were just easier for me to focus.

Good luck! YOU CAN AND WILL DO THIS!

Just FYI- I found lots of mistakes with Exam Cram- I even wrote to the publisher twice- with no reply. I researched the correct answers and provided the info to them- I wanted to know if the entire book was full of errors and/or if they had a site to provide updated corrections. I would stick with Saunders, Mosby's and other mentioned here- not trusting Exam Cram at all and especially the customer service. Good luck.

911....

Thanks so much for the input, I borrowed the Kaplan 2009-2010 (purple) book and the ExamCram book with CD from my public library for my girlfriend to use. She lives in another city and her library has review books that are too old (more than 3 years). I will let my girlfriend know what you said about the ExamCram.

I would recommend to everyone to check your library first, to save yourself some money when it comes to NCLEX-RN review.

Thanks again 911...

no problem- just wanted to help someone save some cash. You are so right- the local public libraries and technical school libraries are great sources for books- I have learned that recent copies of various books can be transferred in from other cities- ask the librarian. Good luck!
