Envelope size does not matter when it comes to NCLEX results!

I have read a few NCLEX discussion board posts that have stated that receiving a smaller envelope is good news when it comes to NCLEX results and larger packets generally indicate failure and include information on what areas are in need of review. I just wanted to pass on that I did not find this to be the case in my situation because I received both. Unfortunately all states do not participate in the quick result service and test takers who reside in these non-participating states must wait for snail mail to find out their results. If the test taker is lucky their Board of Nursing may post their RN status on their website, but some may recieve their letters before this occurs. Thankfully my board did post my results so I knew before hand that I passed. Three days after I was aware of my passing status I received a small envelope with my license. However, the very next day I received a large envelope with a certificate and other paperwork. Had the larger envelope come to my house first and I was not aware of my results I would have panicked for nothing. So please don't immediately panic because of envelope size until you determine the contents inside. Good luck everyone!
