Discussion question

A friend of mine and I was having a discussion on acidosis and alkalosis. we need some clarification on who is right...I have been trying to find the answer on line, but figure I might get a quicker response this way. Here goes, if a client is taking Tums will it causes acidosis or alkalosis..I chose alkaloisis.
