Day of/before NCLEX Exam

  1. NCLEX - PN

Ok so I finally received my ATT and scheduled my test date for September 1st. first available date! YEEEAAAHHH!

Now I am soooooooooo scared, I used Suzanne study guide and I feel confident in answering my questions now more so than a month ago...

Anyways my main question is, what relaxation techniques did you do the day before the exam, and the day of the exam. My exam starts at 1:30 pm and to tell you the truth I hate afternoon testing, so what in the world can I do to hold my anxiety until I take this test in the afternoon? Any help would be appreciated...

Hmmm.. you could sleep late, go for a run (or any exercise is good), or anything else that can help lower your anxiety before going into the test. You've studied and studied, so force yourself to close those books. Have confidence that you've prepared adequately.

    Good luck!

I second Franny's vote for exercise. Even if you're not a jogging type of person, getting up and walking around the block a couple of times will help you become fully alert while burning off some of that nervous energy.

Best of luck! Let us know how it goes.

Where can I find Suzanne's advice for NCLEX? I have read this on a few posts, and I am knew to site, so I am not sure how to navigate. Besides, I only log on when I am taking a study break, and if I try to investigate everything right away, I won't study. Maybe that wouldn't be so bad :chuckle

Check out the sticky near the top of this forum entitled 'The first tip of my new study guide.' You can send a private message to Suzanne4 when you've completed that first step.
