Daily Study Until NCLEX DAY TUESDAY ! =D

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

Okay so I officially have 3 days left until the determining day of my life!!!...Tuesday I will be taking the NCLEX examination for the first time!..Up until today I have been doing nothing but questions and reviewing rationales mainly through Kaplan and some on flashcards that I received from my preceptor.

Today I started a little late and did Qtrainer #7 which was 265 questions I finished with 50 minutes left on the clock and a score of 72.45% which I feel pretty good about at this point because I understand the rationales and why I picked the answers I did.

I plan to go over those rationales again and also review other rationales from the other qtrainers and qbank questions that I have done. I have a lot to cram into these next two days because I am going to take Monday off to relax and not stress too much. I plan to get my toes & eyebrows done, watch a movie and get a good nights rest...(but who knows I'll probably still be studying out of habit lol)

I will be updating this as the days go on about what I am doing to get ready for the BIG DAY!!!...

All I ask is to include me in your prayers and I also want to say thank to everyone out there who has given me advice and uplifting words allowing me to feel that much more comfortable about taking the NCLEX!!

Hi can you post a copy of the study guide that's you found on here been trying to find it..please

I'll be thinking and praying for you both - Chicago_RN and Dubs2012. Going to reread the notes I took from Saunders, write out my labs one last time, pray and try to get some sleep. I wasn't able to get through all of Saunders but I only had a few Ch. left and I completed Kaplan Readiness Test today with 82.76% so I feel I've done the most I can in the short time I had. May we all be RNs by this time tomorrow! :)

Good luck everyone!!! I passed this morning first try with 75 questions in a little over an hour. My best advice is to Be confident and don't forget to breathe! Expect to do 265 questions and expect that there will be stuff you don't know. You just need to relax, eliminate as many answers as you can then go with your gut! Expect it to be tough and expect not to know everything. If you expect it you won't get flustered and nervous!!! You all have made it this far and are capable! Trust in your instincts and always remember they are testing "how safe" you would be as a nurse. Think safety and what's the best thing for the patient. I got a ton of select all that apply and priority questions but used these techniques and pushed thru. You guys can do this. You are going to be nurses!!!!!! Good luck!

Dubs2012

Best of luck on NCLEX in the morning. You had wonderful scores so I am sure you will pass with flying colors. I have been doing Kaplan and I have found the test tainers 1, 2 and 3 is prioritizing one of the three or is it a special one? I have a problem with prioritizing and can use a little extra help.
