Can you reschedule your NCLEX date?

by CSNS

Hi everyone,

I am trying to plan a trip back home for this summer (haven't been in 4 years.) and I am worried about the NCLEX date. At my school it seems people receive a letter telling them when they are scheduled to take it (it seems no one has any say so in it), roughly 2 month after graduation. I am worried that the date will fall when I am out of the country. If that, happens is it possible to reschedule?

Thanks y'all!

You decide when you want to take it. You have to register with Pearson VUE and apply to your state BON. Once they review your application and you are approved, you will receive your ATT (authorization to test). This is valid for 90 days and you must present it at the time you test. After you receive your ATT, you schedule your test with Pearson VUE within that 90 day period. Once you have your appointment date, you can reschedule it up to like 24 hours before, but it must still be within the valid dates of the ATT. Hope this helps! Have a great vacation!

Thank you so much for your answer. Now I have to figure out dates that will fall within those 90 days.
