California Results

One other question, are the results posting automated or do the workers at the board have to enter them into the computer? I've heard of people seeing their results late at night or early in the morning so I don't know if they just didn't look during business hours that day or if one's name can be posted after business hours. Thanks for all the input, this waiting is already killing me!!!!

It could take anywhere from 2days to 4 weeks from seeing your name in the website. I knew someone who stayed up all night to see when exactly the website is updated and she figured around 3am. The website updates once a day, 5 days a week. You'll receive your result by mail anywhere from 2 weeks to 4 weeks. I haven't known anyone who received a passing result in the mail without seeing their name on the website first. Goodlck to you!

Anybody else know how long it took them or their friends to get results in Cali? I know it could take a little while, the waiting is just killing me!!!

I'm a foreign nurse i have my SSN already. Is it really true 2 to 3 days if you didn't see your name at BRN in CA it really means that you failed the test? Cuz some told me if you do not have SSN you'll not see your name on the web and if you are a foreign nurse you 'll have your results in a week? can somebody please help me with me this situation...

I don't know what the board's policy is about when they get the results on the net. I've heard of people getting their results online in a couple days and I've heard of it taking a week to see your name online. I would think it is not safe to say you failed if you don't see your name on the website in only a couple days. Like I said, I've heard of people taking a week or so to see their results on the website. Good luck!!!

At my school, it depends on when you take it. If you took it early then, the wait could be as much as five weeks. Why? My school's administration takes forever to send the documentation to the board and, apparently, they don't post the scores for anyone until they get those records from the school.

But, if you take it later and, consequently, after the board gets the school records then, it just takes a couple of days, unless you take the test on a Friday ...

Or, so I've heard. If you're school is more prompt with the records then, it could be a totally different story.

I already submit all the documents they needed coz they won't give me the ATT and i took the test last saturday this is the fourth day already it seems i am running out of luck. they told me also you have only 10 percent of chances passing the test

It's not a question of you submitting the records to the school. It's a question of when the school submits their records to the board. That's what can really delay getting your NCLEX results.

Yes my school already sent all the documents to board and we have to make sure that too before we go here in USA. so please tell me the truth about 2 to 3 day period? my life depend on this cuz i have a family to support. thank you for replyin lizz.

Even if you have your SSN, and you don't see you name on the website..... it doesn't mean that you failed. It may show up a few days or a few weeks later ..... better wait for the results by post. Good luck!
