Hi Everybody,

I know this is totally neurotic but has anybody ever received failing results from the CA-BRN without having their file complete for instance their transcripts weren't in yet?

When I called the BRN today they said "your results are in but we're waiting for the transcript." .....so is that good news? Are passing results being held up? Yeah...this is crazy. My transcripts arrived at the BRN on 1/13 and I know it takes a few weeks to process them in the system.

I know I'm starting to read into things a little too much...but waiting for ten days has made me a little crazy.

Having a transcript into the BRN, and taking the exam are completely two different things. The BRN will not release your score to you until you file is complete and evaluated. And you need to allow about two weeks for that.

They have no control over what your school does. Each file is then reviewed by a human, and it depends on where your file is in their pile.

You are only going to give yourself ulcers over this.

I feel your pain..I took the NCLEX 1/19...I am waiting as well. I check the BRN website every day and look for my name and a license #. and cry when I don't see it...it's been 6 business days....I know that my transcripts have not been sent, they will be sent sometime in Febuary...so does that mean I will not find out until febuary what my results are???? i think I may need to get on med's by that time!!!!!! I am a emotional mess....my friends and family are at their limit with me ( I am neurotic too!) So you called the CA board and they said that they do not post your license until your file is complete????I call the board but they are always to busy and it hangs up on me....advise...words of wisdom...

California will not post your results, as they only post when you are issued a license, and that will not be until they have received and reviewed your transcripts. When you get your license, it means that everything is complete.
