If you received that letter, then they have everything.
What you are hearing is from grads from CA schools. Ca actually permits them to write the NCLEX before the final transcripts are submitted as long as their name is on a list that the school sends in with the names of students expected to graduate.
On average they can take about two weeks to get a license posted, so give them another week or so. Sometimes the letter can even go out first....

p.s. If you need to phone them, best time is 9am their time.

That made me feel less worried...I'll give them a call monday just to make sure...It just make sense that in order for them to find me eligible is if they have what is required...Thanks, again

If you did not do your training in California, that is exactly what it means.

CA is crazy

I think it is crazy that they tell us not to call because it then takes longer for them to process apps/exams etc. It takes up to an hour of repeated calling and getting a busy signal before being able to talk to someone. Yet it is our responsibility to find out if thay have everything, much of which is out of our control, (livescan, transcripts, or whatever). Frankly, I think it is a bunch of bull. They could easily send a post card with items missing that we could follow-up on or give us a phone line we could check for updates etc. to our file.

If you phoine right at 9am then there is no wait. Not everyone has this problem, so if you have waited more than three weeks, call.

Question

I took my nclex test on july 20th and I checked on friday at pearson vue for my quick results. They said that I passed, but then I checked today(monday) on the ohio board of nursing for my results and they still say pending. This has me worried because two of my friends took their test on the same day as me and their results are up on the board of nursing. Should I be worried?

If it states that you passed, then you passed. The license numbers are handled manually, then posted. Pearson-Vue is computerized..........

I wouldn't worry about it....give it a day or two. Remember humans are involved.

I am just asking because that post was to another nurse who is in a state that has early notification by Pearson-Vue.
