Hi everyone,

I took my NCLEX last month and failed!! I was devastated but quickly got over myself and ready to take it again. Now after getting the official letter, everything said I was almost passing and maybe one or two sections that said above passing, so there was no help in where i should focus. I need to focus everywhere. I want to know where can i get the best review? I want to know if anyone used NCSBN online, how was it and so forth. I would greatly appreciate the advice and input. I plan on taking the exam again end of next month. Thanks I am ready to move on in my career. As well as move on unto a BSN program.

I highly recommend using Saunder's Comprehensive Review 4th Edition and the Kaplan course. I'm taking the Kapaln Review online, which is similar to the class with the exception that you do everything online. I'm taking my NCLEX this month so I hope I pass! Hope this helps and good luck to both of us :D

I like you failed the Nclex the first time. I had one above passing and the rest below passing. I didnt know where to start it seemed like nursing school had not taught me anything. I wanted to take Kaplan review course, but it was far too expensive for me, So i pulled out my Saunders 4th edition and began doing the questions on the CD one system at a time if I didn't do well in any particular system I reviewd the chapter in the book. I did this for a month and a half. Do as many questions as possible this has been said so many times, but it really works. Passed NCLEX 2nd time with 75 questions using only Saunders. Good Luck for next time you'll do great.

I fail twice but that was in 2005 and now I am just getting the courage of taking it the 3rd time. I posted here to ask for your help and everyone told me Sounders and a review course like Kaplan. I am using Sounders and will start Kaplan this month. I have gotten my ATT and will be taking the exam late December or January. Saunders is a good book, I am using it and like it. I wish you good luck and please you all prey from me, I really need it this time.

Make a plan and stick to it. Different review materials may or may not work for anybody else. Since your scores are close to passing, I think you might do more practice questions a day. 100-200 may be enough and review the rationales even if you got it right. And most importantly, pray. God helps the people that help themselves.

Majority of the test takers here uses Exam Cram, Saunders, Kaplan, PD&A by LaCharity. Try checking those books (if you don't have it) at your nearest Barnes and Nobles store. You may try answering a 100 questions in each book and see if you'll like it and would benefit from it.

Good Luck! I'll be taking mine next week and pretty stressed too. LOL! This would be my 2nd attempt and hopefully be my last. =D

I took mine Sept 22nd and failed in 75 questions. I felt so defeated that I didn't pick up a book for over a month. I decided to go with the Kaplan class and WOW has that helped.. well worth the $500 when you think of all you spent on the education. I used Saunders the first time and found the questions to be lower level and I think that had a lot to do with my demise. After taking Kaplan and learning all the "tricks" I went to Borders and picked up the Examcram book and was shocked that in about 10 minutes I had answered 20 questions and only missed one. Kaplan gave me back my confidence and made me remember that inside I AM a Nurse. I am using their two week study plan and I'm scheduled to resit on the 5th of December. I WILL pass this next time!!
