CA will permit a new CA grad to test before they have received the transcripts from the school as long as their name is on a roster that is submitted by the school.
Only about 27 states participate in Quick Results and there are actually quite a few of the others that take at least a week before posting licenses.
We just hear much more about CA since the state is so large to begin with.
Results can be up as early as two to three days, but the average is ten days. But this should also be told to the students that are testing by their schools before they even graduate so this would not be an issue for so many.
Blame that on the schools, not the BRN. If the schools do not get the transcripts in, then the BRN cannot release results.
