Published

I just want to say congratulations to everyone that is graduating and best wishes to those just beginning their journey!

I have some great news! Can you believe I just got my ATT for NCLEX, via email, day before yesterday (May 10th!!!)!!!!! Already scheduled a test date!!!!!!

My pinning was May 8th!!!!! It was great!!!! I graduated May 9th, 2013!!!!

Our school made us have everything submitted early and took us to get our fingerprints for free. Our director said she only wanted to have to electronically submit the verification of our graduation the day of actual graduation @ 12:00AM. She did it! Praise! I don't have to wait forever to test!!!!

Start my RN to BSN in July!!! Start my new job in the CVICU on July 15th!!!

How about you guys?????

Hello, PatMac, congratulation! I am very proud of you!

I follow your new posts everyday and trace almost all of your old posts. I have learned a lot from you. Every time I see your posts, I gain strength, courage, and confidence from you.

I have found that you are in the nursing program which I was in. I want to go back to the program this fall. Do you have any special tips to better survive in the program? Thank you very much!

Awe thanks Lynn! My best advice is to remain very dedicated to nursing. There are times where nursing school, because of the stress, will make you question your desire to be a nurse, but those who stick it out feel great in the end.

Find out what kind of learner you are. And cater to it. Don't be afraid to purchase those nursing demystified books or the like, they really helped me. Look for resources anywhere you can.

Yes! We are doing ATI Live Review this upcoming week. Mon-Thurs! Ill keep you updated on it.

They originally had the goal of having most of our class tested by the end of May, June 8th at the latest. I guess that's why our NCLEX process was so "streamlined". Best wishes to you CT!

Congratulations!! I'm jealous, also. We were told that it could be 4-6 weeks but I pray that they were being pessimistic. I'm trying to study on my own with my Saunders and Kaplan books along with all the other resources that I have. Anybody a little stressed???

PatMac, thank you so much for your advices!

I failed my nursing lecture exam by 2 points (78%) for the 1st semester.

One of the main reasons is lack of preparation. I didn’t read the textbooks well because English is my second language and I couldn’t go through all the chapters in a short time. Also, I am a visual learner, so it took me a lot of time to make thorough notes in the lectures.

I have been thinking a lot. I need to change my study strategies.

Thank you again!

You can certainly do it Lynn. It will be difficult, but its not impossible! Find resources that are legitimate and work for you and stick with them for as long as they work.

We talked to our program director today and she said they no one in our area has ever received ATTs that quick. Ever! She said that we were estimated to get them next week, but we got them in under 24 hours via email. She said she was astonished too!

I was able to find an earlier test date after rechecking the Pearson website yesterday. My test date is really really close!!!!

I received mine today May 13. I was just pinned/graduated on May 11th! I am so excited, its study time :)
