*** word of advice to all nclex takers: ***

all you need to pass your boards is 1 book::clpty:

pearson vue nclex-rn (barnes & noble - $60) or (nclex-pn for lpn's) - $60

yes, pearson vue (the center where you will sit for the actual exam has their own review book)....

why people buy saunders, lippincott, kaplan, etc is beyond me!!!!! :smackingf :uhoh3:

best $60 ever spent....trust me!

all the best!

spread the word.....save people time & $$$$ :yawn::yeah:

comprehensive nclex-rn review prentice hall nursing

by: mary ann hogan

i passed with this book.

the lab values are the exact values you need to know since pearson vue is the one testing you. don't learn lab values from any other book....if this book says k+ is 3.5 - 5.1 or norm glucose level is 75 - 115 (just examples), then that's what it is.

the sample q's are identical. you can choose q's a la cart to focus on areas where you need more help. then when you sit for actual exam you will see the same layout as the sample q's (gray screen, how q's are worded, even the select all that apply are similar, etc)

best of all are the rationales, you learn so much with their rationale after each q. they are to the point and very precise! i love this book.

had i known sooner, i would not have wasted 100's of $$ on books when in nursing school. i never read them anyway only to cram the night before exams.....

oh i have this book. prentice hall has books for all subjects too. i no longer waste my money with other exams. i love it!

I wish the new version was coming out before the end of July, since a lot of people (including me) will be taking the NCLEX before the end of July :( I feel like we're at a disadvantage..

HEY. I guess I already have the Prentice Hall Nursing - Review & Rationales for Medical Surgical Nursing... DO you think this would help me with my studies? Even though it's only Med-Surg? This book really did help me pass my med-surg class. BUT i wish I had the comprehensive:((((

This makes total sense... since it's made by Pearsonvue!

Do you feel it is a big difference in the comprehensive versus the Exam Cram which is also by Pearson Vue. I take the NCLEX-RN on the 23rd and have been doing the Exam Cram daily and also scheduled to take a HESI review course next week.

can you tell me where did you pre-ordered this book?

i ordered at amazon.com
