hi guys . i want to ask some questions . i have my att on hand to be expires this sept 2009. but my problem is in my att im using my maiden name and also in my passport.but i want to change it because i just married last apr 3. i need to change also my address bec. my address before is in the philippines now im here in california.and how about my ssn. i just apply last week when i received i can i update my account in website? what should i do? is it right if i print the form CHANGE NAME / OR ADDRESS and fax it to them together with the copy of my marriage cert. pls anyone had experience the same as mine before.thank you

If you are still using your old ID, you could continue and change your name afterwards. But if you anticipate a long time interval, you should go ahead and do the changes now, especially since you have an address change to report. You can not get your license without the SSN, so don't delay providing that info. Just best to make all of the changes as soon as possible. Good luck with your test.

Wanted to add that your name on your ID must match the name on the ATT. If you have a new ID with the new name and address, then you must report the changes to the Board and get a new ATT with the new name.

I still use my maiden name since all of my credentials are with my maiden name. I will change it as soon as I pass my NCLEX-RN exam. In that way there will be no confusions.

hi im rhea and guess what ..we are in the same situation..i entered here as a K1 visa..and now im planning to take my nclex this sept.but my problem is what name should i use..since i got married last week..

yah we are in the same situation. k1 visa, using my maiden name just married last april. and my att to be expired sept 5, i will be taking exam sept 4. bec. iinterview this end of aug. for adjustment of status to have a green card that's why i dont have any id. i just change my address from ph to us in BON . and i will take using my maiden name in exam bec. of my passport. silverdragon advice me to update it after i take the exam. bec. in my ssn i am using married name. hope it help
