ATI live Review course

Hi all

I am in my last month of school, I have less then a month till pinning
my school is recommending for us to do an ATI live review to help prepare of us for the boards. (we used them thru out the whole program at the end of each semester we had a test to take to me they lack in the amount of review questions and I dont like the way their questions are worded.)

I dont know anyone who has taken their review course and pass the nclex. So I thought, where else can I ask this question and get some great feedback if anyone has any input good or bad please let me know.

HI, I just stopped in to see how everyone is doing. Do let me say that I think ATI is the biggest wate of money going. Our school used these tests. There was a predictor test at the end of our last semseter of school. School policy stated that if you failed the test 3 times you then failed out of school and did not get your degree. Several students did very poorly and some passed with eact test attempt. I think the test did alot to undermine the self confidence of students. Many who passed this -failed the NCLEX and many more who did poorly on these tests passed NCLEX with 75 questions.
After having passed NCLEX at 75 questons ATI does not help. The qestions are worded NOTHING like ATI.

May I suggest that you follow Suzanne's Plan for FREE - LOTS if students pass the first time using it. I did!!! Thanks again Suzanne It is a postit on the top of the first page listed as Suzanne's plan.

If your school does not make a review course mandatory then you should decide for yourself whether or not you want to do this. For some it might do the trick, for others it could be a waste of money. Either way, you are still going to have to put the bulk of your effort into self study.

I know what you mean, Ati was a waste of money they charged us over 300 for those books which most of us did use and I too just took the Predictor test which I heard I should not really on the scores too much. I feel the same way about the questions I dont feel they represent the nclex questions at all and the review is not free I have to come up with more money for this nonsense.
I already started on suzanne's first tip and thats the only plan I am considering. thanks for your response
