Anyone taking NCLEX the week of July 21st?

Saunders doesn't even closely measure up to NCLEX. I would suggest Kaplan Qbank.

I will be taking NCLEX on the 21st as well. Lets both be positive, i'm freaking out already but I still try to calm down Best of luck to both of us!

I take mine on July 21st too. Ive been doing Kaplan trainers and qbank questions and looking at their book that came with the class I took

I retake my NCLEX for the 3rd time on the 28th. The last time I took it this year I went to question 205 and failed. I did a review class the week before. This time around I am not doing a review class. I did Kaplan exam prep questions and decided to buy 1 month access Kaplan Qbank. Scoring so far 50% 51% 56% 58% nothing over 60%. Every test I do, I write the rationales that I wasn't clear of down on index cards. Today I'm looking more into pharm and studying drug categories and side effects and precautions. I found the NCLEX PN info sheet on here. I'm printing it today. Any other suggestions? I've really been studying more than when I took the test last time. I really want to pass this time around.

I will be writing the week after you guys. I'm already so tensed up and nervous about it. I feel like no matter how many q's I do I keep forgetting things. Does anyone know if questions really are better than content?

Content is important but I feel like they are more concerned with you practicing safely. So by that they will ask priority questions, delegation, signs and symptoms. The biggest thing is critical thinking. Nursing school was all about testing your content knowledge. The NCLEX wants you to critically think in a situation while also practicing safely (if that makes any sense haha).

Thank you for your kind reply. What you said makes really good sense.. which makes me even worried because I'm not sure how to prepare for it, in better words I dunno how well prepared I am. I have done lots of questions more than content but also went over content decent enough. I'm a bad test taking however and no matter how many times I try using those strategies for answering I can't seem to get the right answer always narrowed it down to 2 and end up picking the wrong one.
