Anyone taking NCLEX this week?

Nursing Students NCLEX

I am taking the NCLEX on Friday and I am pretty calm. I was wondering who else was taking it this week. I kind of freaked out when I received my ATT and was a nervous wreck for a day or two after scheduling the test. I went away for a relaxing weekend and never even thought about the NCLEX.

I feel like there is something wrong if I am so calm. Can anyone relate? Is it ok to not be freaked out. I am such a worrier, I am worried because I have nothing to worry about.:smackingf

I just think this smiley is cute:Snowman3: .

Hi You should be happy that you can stay calm. Its quite normal. I think people deal with stress in different ways. I can clearly relate myself to you. I prepared my mind way ahead of time and i could stay calm as my exam approached. On the day before my exam, i spend time talking to my friends who are not in the country and went outside with my husband for dinner. I am sure there were many praying out for me.

Even during exam i was very calm, tried to be little in time for exam and tried to avoid unnecessary talks which creates anxiety and that was it.

I got my results in a weeks time and i passed. Computer shut down at 75 and it was my first attempt. i thank God for that.

So what you are feeling right now is also normal i guess...

Good luck for your exams and keep us posted how it went.

There's nothing wrong with how you feel... i even envy you... when most of test takers are anxious dead prior and during exam and even while waiting for the results.

keep us posted.... God bless!!!!

I didn't say anything about during or after the test ;) . I usually get a wave of test anxiety right as the test starts and I overcome it as I answer questions, it is the fear of the unknown I guess. I also KNOW that I am going to be a mess waiting for the results, patience is not a virtue I have an excess of. My friends have already planned my weekend for me, they are keeping me busy.

Good luck, MyBSNin06! You can do it! Do let us know the outcome.

All the best with your NCLEX this week! Let us know how it goes.

Specializes in ICU/PCU/Infusion.

Good luck to you! You know you have the knowledge to pass, and with your serenity, you will pass.

Breathe! Breathe! You shall overcome this as we have studied and finished our degree, and now just need to look at this as the last step before we begin our new careers in nursing.

I will be thinking of you as you are testing tomorrow.

Good luck, and godspeed, my fellow Dec. grad!

:)

to all of you,

my big day is tomorrow 11:00 am. My heart is beating fast like AF!!! I am trying my best to be calm. But I know this is the normal response of the body. Please pray for me?

hi, is anybody here tried the MEASUREUP.COM online review? I took my Nclex last Nov 9 and failed:scrying: :scrying: :scrying: . But anyway, i booked my exam again on Dec. 29. Is one month enough to review again?

I wish you the best. You can do it!

I am taking my NCLEX=PN at 0900 tomorrow. I am so numb that I am not nervous anymore. I did Saunders cd and book. I have rescheduled this test 6 times because I felt I wasn't prepared. Lately, my scores on Saunders have been going DOWN> from 80's to 60's. I wonder if it is possible to study too much? I have degrees in other fields and never felt incompetent or ill prepared. I hope I pass because I doubt I would stress my body and mind like this ever again. Did I mention I will be 50 in 6 weeks? HA HA HA
