Anyone have experience with ATI?

We used ATI and it does cover a lot. I didn't really use it for the NCLEX though. I used the CD that came with my NCLEX book and found a lot of free practice tests online and a lot of good information videos on youtube. There is a lot of good information online that is free that will help you study. I wouldn't spend a lot of money on more review courses unless you want to.

I thought ATI was ok for testing content but not set up enough like the NCLEX. I had access to both ATI and Kaplan and I thought Kaplan was way better in preparing me for the test

My school makes us do the ATI's and from what i hear it really prepares you for the NCLEX. Alot of people who i know graduated last mod and passed their NCLEX said that it was easier then the ATI exits we have to take at the end of school

My college had ATI and made us use it. The predictor test is pretty close to the nclex. I had a low score on it and felt horrible but I did all of their review videos and I passed my nclex! Best of luck.

My school used ATI as well. My predictor scores were 75%. I didn't feel prepared enough to take the nclex until I bought kaplan live. It comes with practice tests in a variety of questions up to 265 and the qbank. I completed 7 of the tests over 2 weeks and the course content and passed nclex on the first try.

My school made us use ati and I take my nclex tomorrow so I will keep you updated. The predictor said that I had an 86% chance of passing a few months ago and now I got 90%-98% chance of passing so hopefully it is accurate or close to it.

My school used the ATI online exams and we were encouraged to read the ATI content books as well throughout school. I did not do a live or online review course but instead bought Lippencott's Q&A NCLEX review book. I passed NCLEX on first try :-)

My school made us use ATI as well. I felt it was very useful although the rationales were not really detailed. I feel that the ATI was very similiar to NCLEX. I also used Saunders (green book) CD that consist of questions I think that was the most useful because the questions were broken down into body systems and can quiz myself better that way. I did not read the book. Felt that it was just too much to look at. It allows you to be comfortable sitting at a computer to take an exam. I used the ATI for content review. I used the Kaplan NCLEX PN strategies book after I reviewed.

In summary these are all the sources I used

ATI- For content review got in the 70s on the predictor. Not strong but I still passed my NCLEX on the 1st try. Im not a good test taker at all.

Saunders Comprehensive NCLEX PN review 4th edition (Green book)- Used ONLY the CD for questions- Content Review

Exam Cram- Only used it for the put in order questions. Barely used this book. (wouldnt really buy this book) Less helpful

Kaplan NCLEX-PN Strategies Practice and Review- I used this book for 2 weeks straight leading up to the exam.. Gives you the best strategies. I got the 2011-2012 edition and I passed on the 1st try

I used a NCLEX study guide that is circulating on this site. I used that for the last two weeks leading up to the exam.

Hope this works again when I take my NCLEX RN in a few weeks. My advice would be do not go too crazy wasting money on study materials. Just take the time out and study the content and strategies of answering questions and you will be fine.

I used the same exact study content as you did and I agreed with everything you said about each study material. Exam Cram was worth borrowing but not buying, wasnt really helpful.
