Any VT NCLEX foreign applicant --need help!

by gio

Hi, I'm new here.. I am currently under H4 visa ( dependent) as my wife is a PT. Can anybody advise me on how to apply for Vermont NCLEX? Just want to confirm if Vermont won't need CGFNS exam..is that true? What other States that won't need CGFNS prior to NCLEX? I have plans on taking NCLEX first, followed by IELTS.. and eventually leave for U.S. next year. Do you think this is a sound decision? I need your advise, thanks!

Hi there, I've sat NCLEX twice with VT and they are really helpful, so the best thing to do is to contact P.Sartelle (who deals with international applications for details). If you go to the VT BON website at http://vtprofessionals.org/opr1/nurses/
All the relevant application forms are available online. I initially needed my Uni to endorse my course and the times I studied and practiced within each area. Also you need to pay their fee and fill out a declartion of good standing form and also provide proof of your registration (e.g., NMC for the U.K.).

Hope this helps a bit.
