The website for NCLEX RN 3500 - Institutional Version constantly changes. Right now you can view it at: http://nursing.goivytech.net/nclexrn...596D15044E15F8

If, by chance, the originators for the site see that too many people are accessing it, you may find the site to be unavailable for you to use. If so, just wait a week or 2 then do a search of "NCLEX-RN 3500" and you may be lucky enough to find a new link to the institutional version that you can use.

Start with the "Pretest." This will give you and idea of where your weak areas are.

Good Luck!

I have said this over and over and over and over again:

The Real Secret in passing the NCLEX-RN exam is Q AND A!!! And Prayers.

Q and A, not just from a single reference material, but several. Kaplan is good, but the questions are on the easy side and concentrate more on the strategy on how to attack the question. Do yourself a favor and get MORE Q and A books and answer ALL of them. THERE IS NO SINGLE PERFECT ONLY SOURCE IN PASSING NCLEX-RN. It has to be SEVERAL. Get a good grasp on your nursing knowledge first, by answering questions, then you can work on the next level of questions which is the analysis. You cannot shortcut this. So start answering as many questions as you can to develop test taking strategies. Then you can get back to kaplan. Only then when you have done this will you be able to get a better probability of passing.

And of course pray. All your efforts will be wasted without His help.

Good Luck!

and p.s. STOP READING YOUR NOTES please! You already know this stuff, so concentrate on your weak parts and ANSWER, ANSWER, ANSWER questions tirelessly.

Best advice I can offer is to engage in consistent, serious study. Answer as many questions as you can with time taken to study the rationales. When you find yourself wrapped up in negative thinking break away from it and instead answer another question and read the rationales for the answer. That is about the best anyone can do. Good luck.

Hello sir/madam, i just flunked my nclex-rn. I'll try the tips you enumerated above, thank you. It's really hard to take a failing grade but i can only blame myself for being lazy. A piece of advice to the takers that no matter how good the materials you have if you dont practice and study you have a low chance of passing. Just do your best and good luck!
