After 3 weeks of agony i passed!!!!

by Fil-RN

I took the nclex-rn last aug 15, After finishing the test at 75 questions, I'm really feeling so devastated. I hoped that I could have answered more questions assuming that I failed. This morning I called the Ca BON and they told me that I passed and that they were just waiting for my finger prints to issue my license. I felt so relieved! I made a lot of sacrifices just to prepare for the nclex! I've been away from my wife for 6 long months, I resigned from my job just to study and its a good feeling to know that one's sacrifices has paid off. God is so good, and I wouldn't have pulled it through if not for Him and my family's support. I just wish everybody who just took the nclex best of luck! I would be waiting for your threads saying that you passed!

California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) does not give results over the phone, it is actually in violation of their work code to be able to do so. They are unable to verify who it is that called, and could cause legal problems for them as well. They may have said to expect something in the mail soon, but they cannot tell anyone that they passed or failed.

Please be careful when telling people this, it just does not happen.

California also does not even have a Board of Nursing...................Board of Registered Nursing called the BRN and the LVN licenses are handled thru a completely different office and licensing entity.

I just called Ca BON this afternoon and somebody told me that he cannot give the result by phone, he said to wait for 31 days and it will come in the mail. What did you say when you talk to the operator? I called Ca BON thinking that I'm gonna get my result too, 'coz I read your post that you got your's by calling Ca board. Thanks and God Bless!
