Hi there... I heard that NCLEX exam in California is much more difficult than those in other states (Florida, Texas, New Mexico). Is this true? Or this is just one of those myths?

That must be a myth. The NCLEX exam is a national test, not determined by state. More information at their site: https://www.ncsbn.org/1200.htm

I don't see why Calif would be anymore difficult...........makes no sense.

It's definitely a myth. The NCLEX is a national exam. All states are the same.

i hope i'm one of those 89%... i'm nervous as a cat ... taking deep breaths don't even help now.. i just keep doing questions on the q bank, sanders and mosby...

Thanks a lot for the reply... I just graduated from nursing last March 2007 and now preparing the requirements for NCLEX-California.. We were told by some of our friends who passed the nlcex not to apply for CA because it's more difficult than those in other states, and that it's not a good entry point for newly graduates. After knowing about all these myths and wrong infos, I can have peace of mind.... Thanks again!!!
