30 extra questions

Nursing Students NCLEX

Published

I've taken my NCLEX 3 times now. My school's pass rate went from 90 percent to 56 percent (they assume due to the new way of teaching implemented in our class). It wasn't the content that was lacking, it was how to read the questions. The first two times I had 265 questions. I did the Hurst review and felt SUPER confident and felt it helped me. At 96 questions, I got a screen stating something about 30 questions that were experimental. They were the similar to the ones I had gotten after 265 on my previous attempts Fill in the blank (you type the entire word or phrase), 3 paragraph questions, new weird stuff like that. I clicked "exit test" after about 10 of them because I thought these didn't count. Did I fail myself???

These questions are a special research section they give to random students. They don't count at all towards your NCLEX score. They are also optional. You can find all of this info on NCSBN.org or the page on Pearson that has all the appointment info.
