3 weeks to the day...

  1. ... and I found out I failed the NCLEX-RN for the second time. I had already mentally prepared myself for the results so I was only half surprised.

So what have I learned from this experience?
    - What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
    - As much as I would have wanted to pass, I know that it's not in God's timing for me right now.
    - Everything happens for a reason. Lately I've been busy in other aspects of my life so I can imagine how tough it would be to handle working at the same time.
    - I will be working for the rest of my life so I should continue enjoying this time off!
    - Lastly, I'm still blessed. I already have a job waiting for me... but I can't work until I pass the exam. It's nice to know it's there.

So this next time around, I am going to start fresh on Kaplan again, buy the Saunder's Comprehensive Review, and use Suzanne's study guide. Any other suggestions and/or feedback would be helpful. Thanks to everyone for your support and continued encouragement.

I'm NOT giving up, and am more determined as ever to beat this exam!

I'm sorry to hear about your results. My only suggestion at this point is this: If you're going to use Suzanne's plan, I would do it her way, which involves focusing on Saunders only.

    Good luck to you!

Thanks for your advice, Eric. Suzanne PM'd me and said exactly the same thing, so I will do as instructed.

I'm so sorry you didn't pass velvet, but if you follow Suzanne's plan to the letter, I'm sure that you'll get different results next time. You'll do it!
