265! I'm going to lose my mind any minute! anyone get that same amount?

:uhoh21:

It's nice to see all the people that passed with 265 questions... unfortunately I was not one of them, I thought I'd let you know, I am not too sad though, beacuse as I read I am really close to passing, thinking about following Suzan's plan, and take the exam again in 45 days, wich me luck. I am not going to giveup until I am a RN!

Hey Guys! Yeah I took it on Monday afternoon and got all 265 questions. Had tons of priority questions and med questions toward the end and the last question was a intervention question for a psych disorder...seemed a lower level question....what does this mean? I am so confused and freaking out...I really am hoping for a hope and a prayer right now to see a lincense number by my name on the MN board of nursing website....good luck to all and hope you all pass....

I took the NCLEX Friday, 2 days ago. I sat through all 265 questions. It was torture. And none of the questions made any sense to me! So unrealistic! I was sure that by number 85 my test would turn off like all of my classmates said theirs had, but no! It got to 100, then 125, then 150. Finally at 200 I realized I was going to have to answer them all. I was shaking and felt I would vomit at any minute, I had to pray to keep from just leaving the testing center! I did not eat the rest of the day even though I was starving, I could not sleep. I didn't know anyone else that had gotten all those questions.

But when I started to calm down about 35 hours later I realized that there was nothing more I could have done. If you have made it through nursing school, finals, and exit exams then you know your stuff! So think of it that way. You did not get this far by guessing, and even though you feel like you know none of the drugs on the test, like me, and none of the scenarios make sense, you know your stuff. So just remember that you ARE a nurse!!

I checked my grade today, PASS!

WOOHOO!!! Congrats-I know your "265 pain", but once you get the pass-who cares----YOU PASSED!!

how many questions you did for the nclex is really no indication of whether you pass or not. i know people who have passed with 265 qs and people who have failed at 80 questions. honestly you have a good instinct of how you performed whether yoou knew the answers or 50/50 or just plain guessed. hang in there. ncex was by far the hardest exam i ever took. i hate it.. it was pure torture.

This blog helps calm you sooo much!!! I took the nclex yesterday... 265 questions later I feel like crap! I am going to just keep praying!!! I feel like I knew a lot but guessed between 2 on a lot... who knows!!! But thanks for the words of wisdom and encouragement everyone it helps sooo much!!!

I took my NCLEX two weeks ago. I hd 265 questions and I PASSED!!!! I was certain I failed. So don't be hard on yourself. Just remember as long as the computer is still asking questions, you are in the game!

I took my second NCLEX last March 17, 2009 with 265 horrible questions. Im really anxious and freakin out. I dont know if I passed or worst- failed again-. :scrying: to think that it took me 5 hours to finish the exam. My first try, the computer shut off at 75. any advice from y'all

hope you guys can include me in your prayers. thanks

Congrats!!!! You story gave chills and brought tears to my eyes. I am so happy for you. Your story just gives me encouragement to stay in the race (I am currently going back to school for my RN) after 17 years of being a LPN and I often hear people ,Why did you wait so long to go back? I have to say it was not my time back then. I focused on my 3 children and husband military career but I thank God for blessing me with the opportunity to go back to school now. You will do great things in your career and your mother is smiling down on you from heaven she is so proud of you and you should be of yourself.

I joined this club on friday the 20th of March. I could not believe my eyes that I was gonna do all the questions. It took me 5hrs. 2 SATA, no calculation bt loads and loads of priotization and delegation. I do not know what I feel inside bt wl diligently wait for the California board. My biggest problem is what am gonna do keep my mind off the waitin period. I pray that the Lord God may hv mercy on me. Am foriegn educated.

I am a nervous wreck. I took the NCLEX-RN, and my computer shut off at 265. I hope I didn't fail, but my friend's computer shut of at 75 and I know she passed.
