Dont be too hard on yourself. I felt the exact same way. When the number turned 76 i was in a state of shock and it got worse as the numbers increased. I could feel my mind giving out and convinced my self that i had failed and just wanted to go home. But i said a little prayer and chugged along. I started to tear as i came out of the testing place and the procter looked up at me and could see i was upset. He said to me "Are you in charge of your life?" Im thinking what? He says to me " God is in charge of your life and do you think God would want anything evil to happen to you?" That made me smile but i still cried all the way home and called my mom to tell her i failed. After two heart renching days of waiting and praying i saw the pearsons quick results that i had passed!!! Now dont think im a religion nut cause im not but i have faith that you will do fine. Just keep on praying, God saw all the hard work and effort you put into studying and wont let you down. Keep us posted

Hi...I'm a first year student...Just wanted to send you some encouragement...If you made it through Nursing School...chances are great that you are can pass the NCLEX...upon reading most of the other posts...your odds are very good! Please think positive...believe in yourself and your abilities...before you know it, you'll be posting that you passed!!!! God Bless you...the world needs more Nurses!!!!

I too took my NCLEX on 6/21/07, three hours from my home town and ended up getting all 265 questions also. It took me about 3 hrs. I was so scared that I had failed I cried pretty much the whole drive home. I got my results on Saturday 6/23/07 and I passed!! Keep your head up and stay strong. Best of luck. Update when you know your results.

I took the test 12 years ago when computer testing was fairly new and rumors about # of questions going wild. I was with another girl from my class and we both finished about the same time (the first 2 finished) and walked outside. When she said she got only 75 questions I burst out crying...I had gotten all 265. I knew then I had failed if I had taken the same amount of time to answer 265 that she had answered 75. I had to wait 11 days for my results at that time and then she got her results before me and she passed. It's a long story, but my results were LOST IN THE MAIL!! The BON would not tell you at that time if you passed or failed so I just had to wait. I went to the post office and dug through lost mail and everything I could think of. FINALLY 4 days after she had gotten her results, I got mine and had PASSED... I can think of no other time in my life that I had felt so awful and helpless, and just downright SICK. I know what all of you are going through, I remember the feelings all too well. Do not worry about the number of questions you get, I know lots of nurses who passed the first time with 75 and with 265. Congratulations to all of you new nurses and welcome to the field, it is a wonderful career.

I took nclex today for the first time and had all 265 as well. I don't know what to think! My friend had 265 and failed, but from all I've read on here, 265 is a good thing! I passed my Hesi with 967, but that doesn't mean anything... It was ALL priority, which pt would you see first. I am so nervous!!! AHHHH!!!

Yea I just took mine this morning and walked out of there sobbing! It was so terrible but I feel better knowing that it is possible to pass.......we'll have to wait and see.....

God I hope I pass, my story is similar to yours. I also got 265 questions this AM but no results til Wednesday. I am PRAYING that I passed! Anyone else feel like they completely bombed the test and ended up passing?

Hey, i also took my test yesterday. I had all 265 questions. I feel like crap. I walked out out there with my head still spinning. I will not get results till wednesday. So i guess we just have to wait for the results. The way Im trying to look at it is that once we take it we have no more control over what just happened. I have to leave it up to god. I tried to do my best. And at the end we are still almost RNs. We have made it this far. Its just one more mountain to climb. Good luck to all of us and hope to hear from you soon.
