PRN hospital work

Hello, I had a question about PRN work. After I finish school, I'd like to spend about a month each summer in NC. Is it possible to get PRN work at the hospital for the Eastern Band of the Cherokee? How would I go about that, apply to their HR department or do I have to go thru a federal job application process.
