Relocation to Montana

U.S.A. Montana

Published

Hello everyone!

I graduate in May 08 with my RN/BSN and want to move to Montana. I live in Georgia now but my family is very supportive and my husband will be going to school after I graduate. I have done a lot of research on Montana and my mom has been there. I absolutely LOVE the live webcams all over the state!

I have talked to nurse recruiters in Great Falls, Billings, and Missoula. It is interesting on who will get back with you etc... The pay rate is pretty much equivalent to hospitals in Atlanta and COL is also pretty darn close. I just wondered if there is anyone out there that could give me some input on Missoula and union nursing. I have not had much experience with union but am aware of unionizatin (born in Indiana which has a lot of union).

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Pay may be egual to where you are at now but I assure you housing is not.I have always worked unions jobs until traveling a few yrs ago. I believe they are good. They are another voice and support you when it is needed.

thank you. rentals that I have checked on seem to be in apx the same range as atlanta metro area... will just have to see..I am just excited for the opportunity

I am seriously thinking about relocating to Montana and the Missoula area. Does anyone know much about the Hospice's in and around Missoula? How large/small are they? What is the average salary for an experienced hospice nurse? I would certainly appreciate any input anyone has to offer. Thanks!!
