    I work at a hospital in the Flathead Valley. We are continually overstaffed and being put on-call. Does anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

    We are having the same problem in Hamilton. What we try to do since we require the OB and the ICU nurse to be in house is to give them "paper days" so that the LPN's are not called off so often.

    This is the first time that I have heard of being overstaffed and putting nursing staff on call. Most of the places that I have worked were understaffed. Are there a shortage of sick people?
