Why is everyone hating on my Palm


Hello all,I have a Palm Tungstin e2,I love it,got some skyscape software on it and plan to ad more,but when I start asking the "geeks" a question about it,"oh you got a Paaaallllmmm."Yes,I am the proud owner of a Palm.Is there any thing I should know about,like is it going to one day just ireversably crash and lose all my programs?Any one ouit there using the PalmOS and what device do you use.Thanks

I use PALM and have had no real problems to write home about, still have it after several years and love it

The biggest problem I see with 'geeks' and the Palm line of products are that they palm products (Palm OS/hardware) have a history of not being updated for years and getting far behind the times. I suspect the people that are making fun of your Palm device are probably iPhone worshippers though. I enjoy my Palm TX, although I don't use it for work anymore because I have finally started using my iPhone in all places, but I love the Palm TX I had.

I was always a Palm-girl. However, I went to the BlackBerry because our charting is available that way. Love the BB. The iphone not so much.

I still use my Palm TX all the time at work. I have the Constellation package and use the Davis drug guide and Tabers dictionary. I also have the free Epocrates version too. I find that I use the Davis and Epocrates both. I wish they had all the information in one. Davis gives normal dosing ranges for drugs, but not what size pills it actually comes in as Epocrates does.
But tell the geeks to get off your back. Palm was the original, everyone else is a faker.
