i am getting ready to upgrade my phone. i'm looking at a blackberry 8330. do any of you all have one, and if so, what are some of the pros and cons? this will be my first foray into the smartphone world. i want a phone that will allow me to run programs such as epocrates. also, what would be some other applications that would be beneficial to me as a first year nursing student? thank you, jon

edit: just saw the thread at the top about apps. still would like any input from you about what apps you find most useful.

I have the BlackBerry Curve 8330 from Verizon and am very happy with it. I have ePocrates and several Skyscape programs on it including a renal dosing program and a couple of peds programs.

Is this a good PDA for home care, need to schedule hc visits incuding SOC(admission) ROC, Recert, HHA sup LPN sups, emergency contact, address MD address/fax. Have paperchart in home to note all of the above, but am going to work PD for a few agencies, and need to organize. I don't text very well, need lg keypad. Would i be better off with old fashioned palm with stylet. Have Verizon/motorola adventure and love it, have a Garmin GPS). Don't want to lose stylet, won't be writing notes. I lose my dayplanner all the time. Can you guys tell me which PDA to get to meet my needs???? I will be forever grateful!! KW
