Sprint's Palm Treo 755p or Sprint's new Mogul

Ok...so I've been a huge fan of Samsung's flip phones since the very first time I had a cell phone. I am in desperate need of a new phone, and I thought to myself, "What better time to get a brand spankin' new PDA since I'll be starting nursing school on August 20th?!" My problem is that I am EXTREMELY IGNORANT when it comes down to smartphones/PDA's. From the forums, I've been reading that most of the software that can be downloaded onto a PDA needs to be done on a Palm OS compatible phone. The Treo 755 is palm os compatible. The Mogul--which is the one I REALLY want is windows mobile compatible. I don't know what to do, and I would LOVE for someone to give me more information on this. Is it that there aren't any applications to download at all for Windows Mobile, or are they more expensive? ANY INFORMATION WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Well I took the plunge and bought a Mogul. This is my first PDA/ Smartphone. I have to say that I really really like it. I downloaded the trial Nursing Constellation from Skyscape and I think it is really cool too. The good thing about sprint is you get a 30 day trial and if you do not like it you can return it.

Now I am trying to figure out if I like the Skyscape enough to buy it or if there are better programs out there.

Good Luck.

I have the treo 755p and love it. I started with the treo 300, upgraded to 600, then 650 and now 755p. This is by far the best PDA I have owned.

I own the Verizon Treo 700p and have had it almost a year and love it.

I used to love mine, use it all the time, but am seriosly considering switching from Palm OS to Windows OS. I have the Treo 700p and it has given me so much trouble, crashing (& burning!). It's been replaced twice. Apparently, the more software on the 700p, the more unstable it becomes. I had to remove a load (even though I use the expansion card), but now I miss some of my favourite software. I'm always nervous that it is going to crash again.

Do you think it is better to get a trio rather than just a PDA?
Thanks for the info,
J

I like having one-thing-does-all. However, if you're planning on loading a bunch of software, I'd seriously consider going to the windows rather than palm based treo. I'm waiting for my 2 years to be up and then switching.
