Moved this to the PDA forum, so you'll hopefully get more responses. I like Skyscape pretty well. I've tried the free version of Epocrates, but never bought the full version.

I personally would stay away from Epocrates! I bought their "SX and DX" and was able to use it for one year (when the subscription was active) but as soon as the subscription expired, I wasn't able to use the program anymore!

I also have Skyscape's nursing constellation and Tabor's medical dictionary. Both of those subscriptions expired in Dec '07 and I'm still able to use the programs, I just can't get any new updates.
I mean, how important is it really to keep a medical dictionary, a symptoms and diseases guide and a lab reference book always up to date? And do you trash your drug guide every year and buy the newest version?
If I do come across a new drug at work I can always look it up online.

Epocrates for me. Also Tarascon Pharmacopedia (the little green book), its just quicker to use then getting out the PDA.

depends on what your going to use it for. If your looking for prescribing info then epocrates, if your looking for administration guidlines, use the davis drug guide from skyscape.

Skyscape contains more useful information in a very organized way. It easier to read the information on Skyscapes Applications.
