What are your favorite phone apps as a student and RN??

  1. Feel free to share any smart phone apps that you find it very helpful for you as a nursing student or a working RN.

Particularly, I am looking for a good pathophysiology phone app and lab diagnostic test app. Thank you!

There's a game called "prognosis" and you gets this little synopsis of a pt and have to guess at their prognosis based on symptoms/tests. I think its probably more for medical students but I found it fun :P Also, micromedex is great for drugs.

Main ones I use on my iPhone are Pocket Lab Values, Instant ECG and Davis' Drug Guide (for nurses).

Check out Lab Values + for iPhone. I have both Lab Values Pro and Pocket Lab Values and I prefer Values Pro and use it a lot on the job.

4Shared.com has some great free PDFs that you can upload. I have downloaded and use RNotes, Lab and Diagnostic handbook, Davis's drug Guide, quick careplans, PDF's of my books online (sometimes they are the older version but it's portable!), NCLEX study text, and a TON of other really helpful docs!

I hope you can use them!
