I've got the Sony Clie SJ33.. 16 mb internal memory, and I have a 128 mb memory stick. It's more than I'll ever need But, I love my clie, it's slick, quick, and it has an easier interface *in my opinion* than a Pocket PC... good luck in the search!

There are a lot more free programs available for palm os than the pocket pc. If you don't mind spending more money on your software several of my friends use pocket pc and get along just fine in the CVICU were I work. From a strictly medical standpoint I would get the palm. I would however rethink the sony thing, Their customer service SUCKS.

My program (Samford University) is requiring that we have a PDA with Palm OS before our clinicals start next fall. However, a friend of mine who has been out for about 10 months now recommended a pocket PC?!

    Oh well.

Just snagged a Toshiba E310 from Ebay, factury refurb with Pocket OS 2002. I had a Palm M100 with 2MB memory, but my school programs require alot more than that. I have to say that I really do enjoy the Pocket PC more than the Palm. I am able to sync it flawlessly with my computer and have not had any problems. Not to mention the fact that it has 32MB memory on board and I snagged a 128 MB Secure digital card as well. Total package was under $130.00. One point the Palm has for it, a lot more Freeware available than for Pocket PC. You just have to sit down and figure out your exact uses. The deciding vote for me was how easy it was to store PDF files and Word documents on the Pocket PC and review/edit them. I needed that for school and it fit the bill. I know that the Sony's come with Documents to Go which will allow Word and Ecel files to work, but I have not messed with that software as of yet.
