You are going to love it!

Just about everyone I work with now has the iPhone or at least the iPod Touch.

Hook up with iTunes, and download your music library. You can download tons of free applications there as well that are useful for nursing and just about everything.

Do you have satellite radio? You can get this on your computer, and as an application on your iPhone. You can use your iPhone to play music on your car stereo or on one of those nifty Bose players at home.

My bank, USAA has an application for iPhone. If someone gives me a check. I take a picture of the front and back with my phone, push a button, and it gets instantly deposited into my account in Texas. Meanwhile I'm back in Florida.

You can take free classes on just about everything thru iTunes University on your
    phone.

Oh my gosh, you have no idea what you can do with that phone! I hardly ever use it
as a phone as I am too busy doing everything else with it.

Don't forget to take the cost of any of the medical/nursing apps on your income tax!!

I use the USAA app with my iPhone too, and it's awesome.

Didn't know that about the satellite radio...does it work with both Sirius and XM? I have a Sirius subscription in my vehicle. I also need to look into what kind of cables I need to hook the iPhone up to the car stereo to use the iPod to play my music and eliminate scratched CDs.

It works with both Sirius and XM. I like both, and have used both.

I had Best Buy replace my car radio with an Alpine, and hook up a cable for the iPod/iPhone in the glove box. I had tried various ways to use iPod without a cable in my car, and ending up returning them all. This worked the best for me. I am not handy, and could never have done this without help...

I use a Bose sound dock at home with iPod, but at work, I have a sound dock from iHome that uses either battery (not my preference), or plugs in. This fits easily in my shoulder bag,and has surprisingly great bass. This is about the size of my hand. I use this at work at night to keep the staff awake when they are dragging and it's too quiet (not often enough!). We can listen to satellite radio if we want to because I added the option of Sirius on my computer when I bought Sirius for the car. If it's on your computer, it's then also on your iPhone/iPod when you add the application from the computer.

I never had iphone, so sorry for asking, do you guys know if I would be able to record a lecture on iphone or I should get a voice recorder? I need a phone and I need a voice recorder too(I am starting a program in spring). Is there anything in nursing program that I would need to use iphone for? ( I am trying to justify a monthly service fee, I am sure it's more than I am paying on my blackberry one). Thank you for advice.
And, congratulation on getting an IPHONE.
Interesting, but today when my phone froze on me again, my husband said that we should get me the iphone. He was saying it before many times and I always was saying "no-no-no", but this time when he said that I really deserve it for getting on the program, for the first time I thought maybe he's right, LOL:spin: I am really scared of the nursing program and I decided that if iphone would help me in the program, then I am getting one, if not then I'll get it for my husband on his Bday. So, please let me know what you think.
