by F.E.R.N. Feb 23, '11Does anyone use a motorola flipside? I'm trying to choose between an iphone3 and a flipside with Android from AT&T. I like the slide-out keyboard better than virtual, but I need the battery to last through a 12 hour shift and heard the motorola had some battery life issues.
My other issue is that I need a good drip calculator for meds like dopamine, propofol, etc. My current calculator is in the ER suite, and that's supposed to be available for Android in "a month or so," but is available for iPhone now.
Thanks for any input!

Like all smartphone: charge it up before your shift starts, shut off the wifi and when you are done using it turn off the screen. Mine has 50% battery at the end of the shift.Does anyone use a motorola flipside? I'm trying to choose between an iphone3 and a flipside with Android from AT&T. If you can, wait until summer. Apple should have its iphone 5 out (iphone 4 for will sell for the price of the 3gs now) and all the Android phone should have similar specs. This next rev of hardward is going to be a big one. If you cant wait,I would look to see if ATT has an HTC android phone. I think HTC builds better hardware and updates software quicker then Samsung or Motorola. -
