Medical Advice App

  1. Hello!

I'm thinking of creating an app where nurses can get paid to give out medical advice or information to people who may have questions about their health.

For example, I have a bad headache and I'm wondering if I should go to the ER or not.

Would you feel comfortable using such an app if there is a disclaimer that protects you?

Bad idea to offer medical advice without knowing the person. Plus WebMD already has a free app symptom checker that does similar. Many insurance companies offer a free nurse advice line as do some hospitals/providers.

The level of caution you'd have to use when giving medical advice over an app would make that advice absolutely worthless.

No. Let's leave medical advice to the medical people.
