ICU/CCU specific software

  1. Howdy folks,
I'm making the move and going to be getting the Palm T/X soon. I'm also wanting to refresh my brain for ICU/CCU (and ACLS) as I've been out of the game for a while now and my paper references are old.
Does anyone know of a good program for this area of practice?
Also, from the looks of it, the Skyscape nursing bundle seems to be a great deal and I'm probably going with that. Any comments there?

I used a friends ePocrates free downloaded pda (Dell) and I wasn't all impressed, but it was functional I guess. I guess I'm thinking back on my pharm tech days and using micromedex, maybe I'll check them out too and see what works best.

Well, I'm off to Staples to play with the T/X for a bit and see if they'll match the prices I found in the sponsored links here. yeah, right...

    Thanks for your input, Bill.

I personally use the pepid rn critical care suite. It's not free, but it has a lot of things one would need.

I've tried out lots of PDA software and purchased a lot, too, and so far Pepid beats them all by a long shot for a total integrated package. My 2

Hi, Ken -- Do we get updates with the Pepid suite? For how long?

    Thanks!

The subscriptions when I got mine were for either 1 or 2 years. I chose the 2 year option and they have been very good at updating their product about once a quarter. I'll be signing up for another 2 years when it's time.

    Regards,

    Ken
