Good Planner App / Calendar App ?

Any suggestions for a planner app? I searched AN and was surprised how find little it's been discussed.

I like the concept of Google Calendar but tried it once (admittedly a long time ago) and it was clunky. My kids' school uses it though so it'd be convenient to have their skedge on my device.

Speaking of device, I use Android, but if you have a Mac app you love throw it out there please.

    TIA,
    Tom

I like Jorte calendar. You can color code appts, make a to-do list, and set reminders for yourself.

I also use any.do for making grocery lists and what not, and they are coming out with a calendar in the next few months that will sync with the list making.

I use Pocket Informant. I have it sync with Google Calander. I can see mine, wifes's, a couple of friends, and a couple of planning calendars.

I use google calendar, BUT the app I use on my android is Jorte. It syncs to google, and I have it synced up to my husband's calendar, as well as both of my kids. Its so nice!

I love Readdle Calendars 5 by readdle. It's kind of pricey (I got it on sale) they also have a free app called Calendars. I love it because each class can be a different color while still being part of the same calendar, it has smart input "type in test in the white building from 4-5 on tuesday" and it makes sense out of it, syncs perfectly with google calendar (so you can access it from any computer). I love it and use it for all my appointments and put all the information on my syllabi on it. I use it and then a paper planner to actually plan out when I'm going to do the stuff that's due.
